Born 1989 in Auckland, New Zealand. I am very blessed to have been born into a family with a successful artistic heritage. Since I am a third generation artist, I have grown up being thoroughly immersed in the world of art since childhood. I have had the privilege of studying fine art and it's creation from the atelier. Ivan Clarke is a renowned New Zealand artist, and being his apprentice has been an invaluable part of my artistic studies. I often find myself in awe of nature and the diverse colours that can be found therein - I feel that nothing can compare to the beauty of nature that is left at it's purest. Specialising in textured oils on large canvases, I have a deep appreciation for rich colour palettes, ambient light, and a variation of textures. I now live among the beautiful Southern Lakes of New Zealand and work from my studio within the Queenstown Arts Centre. |
