Born 1989 in Auckland, New Zealand.
I am blessed to have been born into a family with a successful artistic heritage. Growing up a third generation artist, I have been thoroughly immersed in the world of art since childhood and have had the privilege of studying fine art and it's creation from the within the atelier. Being an understudy and apprentice of Ivan Clarke, the renowned New Zealand artist, has been an invaluable part of my artistic studies.
I often find myself in awe of nature and the diverse colours that can be found therein - I feel that nothing can compare to the beauty of nature that is left at it's purest. Specialising in textured oils on large canvases, I have a deep appreciation for rich colour palettes, ambient light, and a variation of textures.
I now live among the beautiful Southern Lakes of New Zealand and work from my studio at home.
In 2007 I began working for Ivan Clarke as his apprentice.
In July 2009 I moved to Sydney, Australia to study at a Bible College for a year. As a core theme, the "Creative Arts" were featured in these studies.
In 2011 I began painting full-time as a professional artist.
In 2015 I completed a "Diploma in Appreciating Art" with
The Australian Art Institute.
