Sometimes people have trouble finding the right piece of art for their home, or perhaps they just can't find what they're looking for in the right size. If you have any special requests, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to discuss the possibility of creating a painting that will specifically suit your home.
Commissions can be requested to be completed in one of two ways:
Option 1: Stretched:Assembled on a wooden stretcher, with the edges painted. Ready to be either hung on the wall as an un-framed painting, or to be framed. This option is ideal if you live locally.
Option 2: Un-stretched:A rolled up painting, to make the shipping process easier. This is ideal if you do not live locally as it means that the painting is able to be sent in a small tube as opposed to an extremely large and costly crate. The big question in the art world nowadays - to frame or not to frame? Standard procedure for me when I am commissioned to paint a painting on un-stretched canvas is to allow for some extra space and paint the edges. This means that the picture will continue to wrap around the sides of the wooden stretcher when the painting is finally assembled - just in case you decide that you prefer the overall effect of a painting without a frame.
