Over the last several years I've been working hard on developing several series of abstract works within my Living Colours art collection. 2021 found me discovering that I absolutely love working with beautiful, reflective metallics. I've fallen in love with my newest style of painting - abstract impressionism - and I'm so glad that others have too. I have loved this part of my journey and where it's taken my art, and it's been a refreshing diversion from my history of focusing mainly on painting wildflowers.
However, due to popular demand, as well as a stirring desire to continue to develop and refine the look of my wildflower fields; I have now resumed painting what I am now referring to as my "Major Meadows.". I thought you might like to know that each wildflower, poppy, or daisy piece that I'll release in future will be generalised as a "Major Meadow" artwork; not only because of the artwork's very large physical size, but also because each of these works are several long months in the making. These extremely time consuming artworks really are a major labour of dedicated love and extraordinary patience... which is why these pieces unfortunately now need to have an even more exclusive price tag; in order to represent the amount of time, energy and passion I have spent on them. I'm now continuing to focus primarily on producing Major Meadow Artworks full-time; so I estimate that I will only be able to produce a few of these works per year. That being said - please do get in touch if you're hoping to eventually see a particular kind of wildflower or abstract painting become available for purchase.
My newest paintingLuminous Daisies is the second Wildflower piece I've released in nearly three years - so please take a look. I hope you love it as much as I do!
